Tempering
Tempered or toughened glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surface into compression and the interior into tension. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into smaller granular.
Our 2 tempering lines are:
• Glaston ProE 2440
• Glaston RC 500 Series double conviction with Voltrex Pro convection system.
